Round 2. Here We Go Again.

Yep… it’s happening again. Canada Post might be heading into another strike. You’d think that forcing them back to work last December would’ve solved things, right? Turns out, not so much.

Let’s break it down.

We’re not going to sugarcoat it — the “maybe they will, maybe they won’t” is wearing us down, and frankly, it’s not a gamble we want to take with your orders. After talking with our rep at Canada Post, we’re not optimistic. So, we’re switching things up now to avoid last-minute chaos and — hopefully — cut down on the angry emails.

What You Need to Know:

🚫 No More Canada Post (for now):
As of Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM, we are suspending all Canada Post shipments. This gives your orders the best shot at getting out before things potentially come to a grinding halt.

📦 Flat Rate Shipping Is Back:
We’re rolling out a network of independent carriers who will still check ID upon delivery. Rates vary by province, and you’ll see your flat rate option at checkout. No surprise fees. If you're in a rural area and none of the new carriers can reach you, we'll get in touch directly to figure something out — including a full refund if needed.

🚚 Who’s Delivering?
We can’t promise who your carrier will be. The system picks the fastest available option based on where you are. You’ll still get tracking info, regardless of which carrier is used. And if the actual cost is higher than the flat rate? We eat the difference.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

• Carrier Limitations: Smaller regional carriers and brokers are stepping in, but they’re already under pressure. Some have capped how many packages they’ll take from us. We’ll go with whatever gets your package moving fastest — no manual selections.

• Coverage Gaps: Not all carriers serve the whole country like Canada Post. If your address isn’t reachable, we’ll email you directly with options.

• Delivery Timelines: With the big dog (Canada Post) possibly out of the game, the rest of the system’s going to be overloaded. We won’t be able to give exact delivery dates — your tracking number will be your best friend.

• Zero Tolerance for Abuse: We’re all stressed, but threatening emails or aggressive messages will get your order canceled. We don’t run Canada Post, and yelling at us won’t make the strike go away!
